This August we will be orchestrating a series of events to put pressure on members of Congress, starting with another round of Briefcase Brigades. Brigades will be going to Congressional offices around the country throughout the month, starting on August 10th, and demanding they prioritize jobs over budget cuts. We’re going dressed for an interview, briefcases and resumes in hand, to show we’re ready for work, but the opportunities just aren’t there.
The 10th will be the first step in an escalation of pressure on Congress. We hope to build a national youth movement that demands action on the jobs crisis. You can ignite this movement by taking action in your community.
